Program in Georgia

Learn about our six-hour defensive driving program in Georgia, held weekly. Enrollment for our classes should be made at least 1 day before the start of the course. Students will receive a Certificate of Completion at the end of the class.

About the Program

Our defensive driving school is certified by the Georgia Department of Driver Services (DDS) to provide the exclusive six-hour defensive driving course. It recaps the basic rules of the road and covers many important Georgia highway laws. We offer the course twice a week, with options for in-person and virtual Zoom remote sessions.

Why Take Our Six-Hour Defensive Driving Class

License Suspension

If your license has been suspended, you must complete our defensive driving program before your license is reinstated.

Points Reduction

Complete the course once every five years and get up to seven points removed from your record to prevent your license from being revoked.

Fine Reduction

When you take our defensive driving course, 20% of your traffic fines can be reduced, and the court may not add points to your record.

Ticket Dismissal

Many Georgia courts dismiss a traffic violation ticket if the offender completes a six-hour defensive driving program before going to court. If dismissed, there will be no points added to the offender’s driving record and no increase in insurance.

License Suspension for Under-21-Year-Olds

Completing our defensive driving course is required before your license can be reinstated. If you are under 21 years of age and are cited for ONE ticket, it will accumulate 4 or more points on your license in a 12-month period.

License Suspension for Under-18-Year-Olds

You must complete our defensive driving program before your license can be reinstated. If you are under 18 years of age and are cited for 1 or MORE tickets, it will accumulate 4 or more points on your license in a 12-month period.

Insurance Discounts

If you have a clean driving record for three years, you may take our six-hour-long defensive driving program to receive a 10% -15% discount on your auto insurance premium. The discount is determined by your insurance company.

Class Fees

Defensive Driving - $95.00 (fees set by state law) We accept cash, money order, Visa, Mastercard, and debit/credit cards. Online payments are available for your convenience.
